Welcome to Forest Sailing Club
Welcome to Forest Sailing Club, situated on the beautiful Da Gama Dam between Hazyview and White River on the R40.
We offer a peaceful and relaxing environment where you can unwind, enjoy some fishing, have a braai, or simply spend quality time with family and friends. Camping facilities are available, and guests have access to hot and cold showers as well as flush toilets.
Boating is permitted on the dam; however, in accordance with Department of Water Affairs regulations, petrol motors larger than 5 hp are not allowed.

When you get to the top gate there is a sign instructing visitors and members to call Hi-Tech security to open the gate for entry to the dam area.
Sailing Activities
Every first, third, and fifth Sunday of the month is Sailing Sunday, when we hold our series races. We also host an Easter Regatta over the entire Easter weekend.
Interested in learning to sail? We offer beginner courses that progress into intermediate training. Whether you’re an experienced sailor or a complete beginner, we would love to welcome you to the club.
